Cristy Michel is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans music, composition, and art activation, rooted in emotional authenticity and sonic experimentation. As the creative force behind she her sir, Michel explores dark-wave intimacy through raw, expressive lyricism. Their work in the electronic-punk duo You Can Call Me Sir pushes genre and narrative boundaries through collaborative, queer Southern storytelling and horn-driven arrangements. Michel also played bass for the iconic post-punk band Agender and has composed for film, performance, and immersive installations in collaboration with contemporary artists and community-based movements.
